The contract PASSED!!

It's official!!! As of yesterday, Doyle is now based out of Jacksonville International Airport!!! We couldn't be happier!! No more driving to West Palm Beach... no more crazy 2 am wakeup calls for Doyle on a Sunday morning because he needed to be in West Palm Beach by 7am. Now I can drop him off at the airport and have both vehicles at the house if I need them. Talk about convenient!! Plus that means he'll be home SO much earlier... which means fewer, if any at all, getting home at midnight after we are already in bed.

This really is the best possible news! It became effective immediately. Doyle is home on vacation right now anyway, but when he does go back to work, it will be a short 15 minute drive to the airport!

Our other recent news concerns Cade's breathing treatment. Cade had a follow up appointment with the specialist. He suggested we start weaning Cade off of the nebulizer treatments if possible. We had been giving him 2 or 3 treatments a day and the doctor suggested us going down to one treatment a day before bedtime. Well, we were almost out of Cade's medicine for this so Doyle went to Walgreens to refill the prescription. To make a long story short, they "accidentally" refilled his last prescription at 3 TIMES the normal dosage! We spoke to both Cade's pediatrician and the specialist and everyone said if it had been an overdose, that Cade would have let us know. The fact that the prescription is an inhalent instead of a liquid or any other kind of substance helps. Walgreens pretty much just said they would contact the pediatrician and they would contact us. We ended up calling our pediatrician ourselves and still haven't received any call from Walgreens. I'm pretty much ticked off at Walgreens right now. I think I want to be the person to get his next prescription refilled so I can ask them "IF THEY ARE SURE" this is the correct prescription this time. You put your faith in these people that you don't know and hope they are doing what they are supposed to be doing. All I can say is make sure you read the labels in detail EVERY time!

On a brighter note, here are a couple of pictures of Cade being silly.

We are hoping to start and finish our Christmas shopping today. Wish us luck! Have fun with yours!

Wow !! That is wonderful news for Doyle. He will be home more with you & Cade instead of commuting to work. I know Walgreens had to lost some of your faith in them I am sure. Scary!!!
