The Hamptons

Okay, so Doyle and I took one of my business trips and mixed some family vacation into it. We met up with one of Doyle's friends he hadn't seen in years in Long Island. We flew into Newark and then drove up there one evening. Traffic was a mess. We didn't meet up until 9pm. The town Brian lives in, Huntington, is very cute. We would love to go back and spend some more time there. I should have taken pictures, but I was just so tired from all the travel that day.

The next day, since we were so close to the Hamptons, we decided to drive up and check the place out. Here are some pictures of South Hampton. Of course, we had to stop at Coopers Beach...
The beaches weren't the only thing absolutely amazing in the Hamptons... the landscaping was out of this world too.

The houses there also were just amazing... most of them you could only see for just a split second between the landscaping. The one below was just being built so I got a pretty good shot of it.

Downtown was really cute too. They had lots of shops. Here was a really cute open air restaurant that I thought was really cool.

This was a really unique looking tree I thought. I don't think I've seen anything like it before. Looks like it has a layer of snow on it.

Here's a unique shop we came across.

Take a closer look... monkeys! :)

Okay, so that's about it for now. I still have a ton of pictures that we took while in New Jersey at the grandparents house. So that will be my next blog entry. And after that, I've got a ton of NYC pictures as well.

Hope you all have a great rest of your weekend!

Welcome back!

Okay, so it's been two whole months since I've made any posts. What can I say, I've just been plain lazy! Work has kept me plenty busy and by the time I actually do get home, the last thing I want to do is get back on the computer here at home. So I took a break from this update and am back, ready to update again!

Thanks to all our friends who actually emailed me asking why I had stopped blogging. Thanks for noticing and thanks for being great friends.

Happy Blogging to us all. :)
