Cade's new big boy bed!

It's official! Cade is permanently in his big boy bed in his new bedroom and seems to love it! He has so much more room to play and has a lot better access to his toys. So he's always running in there and spending time. Here are some pics of the big reveal to Cade. At first, we had the light blue sheets on but we then we changed them to the red flannel ones since it's been so cold out in the evenings. We also let Cade put these "stickers" on his walls. They are the removable kind that you can reuse over and over. At first he didn't think they should go on the walls and cried about it. Then we let him put some on and that made things all the better.

The necklace Cade is wearing is from St. Patty's Day when we went to Savannah.

Here you can see him crawling under to go into his "fort". These doors open on each side of the bed.
Cade loves running around without pants on. Here are just a few shots of him taken recently.

And yes he's saying "cheese" here.

Cade getting into his old baby stuff in the nursery.

We found a pair of swim goggles from our wedding celebration and Cade wanted to wear them. Also, notice again the necklace. He really likes this one.

And last but not least, finally, a picture of me! Doyle took this one night this week before I got ready for bed. My belly is just huge! I will be very surprised if Cade's sister isn't just as big as Cade was! I'm feeling just okay these days. The weight out front is definitely beginning to take a toll on my back. Less than 3 weeks to go and counting for sure!

Christmas 2008!

Here are some pictures from Christmas. This is the first weekend I've had free to have the time to do finally download the pictures into the computer, etc. Enjoy!!!

I had gone to BJ's and Cade put these boxes together to make himself a little train.

What on earth inspired him to do the above... I'll never know!

Cade opened his "Brobee" while Doyle was home so that he could watch Cade open a gift since he had to work the week of Christmas this year.

Here we are in line waiting to see Santa! Cade was SO excited to get up there.

Here he is with only a 2 kids in front of him. Of course, when it was his turn he pulled the old crying bit and didn't want to have anything to do with sitting on his lap!

We caught Cade reading a book in his pampers box!

Grandpa showing Cade a good time. This got repeated several times over the week they were here.

Cade showing Grandma what Aunt Kathy got Cade for Christmas - a doodle pro! He loves it!

Uncle Aaron playing Mega Blocks with Cade.

Here is yet another fun play time with Grandpa.

Cade was dancing with his low hanging diaper.

Grandpa played with the mega blocks too!

Cade got all excited playing with Grandma.

Here Grandma and Grandpa were getting ready to leave. Needless to say, Cade got all upset they were leaving and cried. He didn't want them to go!

Our friends from Austin, TX, Laurie and Brandon (and baby boy Alderete) came to visit us again also! Yes, it's definitely our turn to go visit them! We went to dinner that night and asked Cade what girl he had his eyes on and he pointed to Laurie! So cute!! It was great seeing them!

We went down to Palm Coast to visit G-ma and G-pa also. It was warm out but the water was chilly.

Cade had a great time.
Afterwards we went for a walk around the development.
The one great thing that happened this morning is that Cade FINALLY learned how to blow out his nose into a tissue!!! That is the GREATEST thing ever!!
Okay, that's it for now! Have a great rest of your weekend!
