Easter Sunday!

Cade didn't like the feel of our St. Augustine grass too much.

Cade's First Haircut!

We took Cade to Snip-Its today to get his hair cut! He did really well at first because there was so much going on. Cade had his own little TV to watch and all the bright colors to look at.

Eventually, Cade had decided he had had enough and it was time to get out of the chair, one way or another!Daddy stepped in and tried to entertain so the girl could finish the cut.

They gave us a little bit of Cade's hair in a take home baggie. There wasn't much on the floor either.
Here is the fresh cut and with his own First Haircut Certificate! He doesn't look like a baby anymore... :(

All in all, it was a very good experience! Snip-It's is a franchise. You can find it online. They have them in many states.

Cade's first time on the swings!

Daddy took Cade to the park when Mommy was at work. Mommy was sorry she missed it! We aren't sure what this patch of grass is for, but Doyle decided it was the perfect place to put Cade down and let him feel the grass.

The birthday boy on his actual birthday

Last Saturday was Cade's actual birthday. We went shopping and bought him some new shoes for daycare because he isn't allowed to wear his sandels in the toddler room. He got a cool pair of Sketchers that light up when he walks. These pictures were taken later that evening. Here he is pointing to Snoopy on his rug. No, his room is not Snoopy themed. The only thing "snoopy" he has is the rug.



He is such a ham! He's also a VERY big boy now. At his Dr's appt to get shots, he dialed in at 26lbs and 9ozs! That's pretty big!

And here he is getting ready for his bath. I think it's pretty easy to tell where he holds all his weight! :)

Grandma & Grandpa came to visit too!

I took some really good videos of mom and dad with Cade while they were here too. It seems the camcorder was used more than the camera on this visit for sure!
