Cade's Birthday Weekend - the Big 2!!

Cade turned two years old on March 15th! I can't believe how quickly the last two years just flew by! He's definitely becoming his own little person and has the cutest personality. He's having so much fun mimicking everything he sees and hears and we have so much fun just watching him do it! Here are some pics from his birthday weekend. Enjoy!
Cade loved his Elmo birthday card because it sang the birthday song to him. I can't possibly tell you how many times he played it!
We got Cade this 2 seater wagon. He loves opening the door and sitting in it while watching TV. He kept wanting daddy to sit in it with him... actually share one side of the seat with him. Too funny!

I made Cade this Devil's food chocolate cake. You can see he went straight for the frosting!

We started singing to Cade and his eyes got really wide...
Then the tears started coming! Poor baby!
Of course those tears dried up as soon as he started eating the cake!

Then Cade moved his cake into his wagon.
And here is the annual birthday bath afterwards to clean up all the chocolate!
Here's a pic of the little girl too!

We took Cade to Metropolitan Park. It was SO hot that day. Is Cade not the spitting image of his father? I think they both are holding their shoulders and arms exactly the same!

Like I said, it was SO hot out!

They had all these little "houses". Cade really got into this one.

The park was really pretty big. They also have several fountain playgrounds as well. We'll definitely go back again.

Laura, Jared and William came over and brought Mellow Mushroom pizza one night. Yummy!

Cade had a really good time playing with William.

On another day, we took Cade to the Jacksonville Zoo.

He loves the zoo!

He just kept pointing at all the animals.

Cade also took time out of his busy weekend to feed Dylan. :)
He's such a good big brother!

We also went to the park by our house. Cade helped walk Kit.

But ran off plenty of times and daddy had to chase him down.
Is this a battle of the cutest cheeks or what??? Ha!

Cade loving on his little sister.

Mommy's little sweetie!

Both kids hanging out on the couch after that busy weekend!!

I'll have more pictures to post in the next couple of days to cover the past week when Grandma and Grandpa Thrash came to visit! So check back soon! :)
