July 4th at the Villano's in Charlotte, NC !!!

Okay, okay, I know everyone has been "patiently" waiting for me to feel better so that I could get back to blogging! Monday I'll be 16 weeks and I think I'm finally nearing the end. Yesterday I felt pretty good even though I did lose some of my supper when brushing my teeth before going to bed. If I can feel pretty good throughout the day, I'll take the gagging when brushing as best I can. So now I'll go back and show everyone what we've been up to over the past few months!

We went to the Villano's over the July 4th weekend. It was right after we got home that I started feeling sick! That timing could not have been better! Here are some pics from that weekend! We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again!

It rained before the fireworks on the 4th. Cade didn't get his nap and he was tired.

We had SO much fun playing Rock Band! It has to be said that on our last night there, the girls challenged the guys to a play off and it should be no surprise that the girls won!! I don't have any still shots of the girls playing but I was on drums, Heather sang and Melissa played guitar. That was more fun than I thought it would be!

That's it for now! Cade has reached his limit on how long he's going to allow me to be on here. I've got some shopping planned for today. But I'll definitely "try" and get back on here to update more later. :)

Sorry for no recent posts!!

As some of you may have guessed... I haven't felt well enough the past 2 months to make any posts. Sorry! But surprise surprise, if you hadn't yet figured it out, we have a new bun in the oven! I thought some of you may have guessed that because the last time I went this long without a post was for the exact same reason! I've pretty much been coming home from work and vegging out on the couch not to mention hitting the sheets around 8pm! I've also spent my fair share amount of time hugging the porcelain throne, which I haven't been too thrilled about in the least. The official due date is Feb 23rd and we just recently started telling everyone after I had my 13 week ultrasound on Friday and everything looks good!

I'm still not feeling the best but at least the puking has subsided with the help of Pepcid AC. I still would rather veg out than get up and do anything but our living room TV acts up almost every day now, so I think we are going to take the plunge and get a new one. I just did some research on consumer reports online and found one that is their CR Best Buy that also happens to be at BJ's. So that works for us! Hopefully we can steer clear of the food sections because I haven't done so well smelling food.

Okay, that's about it for now. I really need to lie down for a few minutes before attempting to take a shower. It really is unfortunate that I'm not one of those women that "love" being pregnant. Of course, if I were, then Doyle would have a hard time controlling headcount at our house! Ha!

I'll try and do a better job of keeping you all updated. I'm hoping here in the next couple of weeks my nausea will disappear and I can resume an almost normal life. We'll see, wish me luck! Thanks!
